It's hard to live in this day and age without paranoia setting in. My Ama wishlist mostly shows a desire for SF-show DVDs and rock CDs (please, nothing copy-protected... almost ready to say nothing released by Sony or BMG in the last several years), but it makes it easy to see how easy it is to be labelled.

Now watch what you say or they’ll be calling you a radical,
Liberal, fanatical, criminal.
Won’t you sign up your name, we’d like to feel you’re
Acceptable, respectable, presentable, a vegetable!
--Supertramp, The Logical Song

In a couple years, I'll have to find the money to get the kid the next Mindstorms kit. He's good with that kind of thing, and building real robots from legos would be amazing to him--but it's too much money for the age he is now, and he hasn't learned to be careful enough with his playthings.
